Whatever you're thinking right now, that's not me. I might be... ...hurtling pell mell towards the black hole at the end of the universe - just to see what is on the other side. ...slowly growing into a moss-covered stone wall around a forgotten garden with a sturdy oak door that has a cold, grey iron lock, for which the key was dropped down to the bottom of the well when the crusaders overran the place many, many years ago. ...the voice of the raven, scratchy and loud in the morning when the gray rain is misting damply, when he tells the green, green trees to wake up ...keeping the chain of the anchor well greased just in case we ever need it - you never know, we might. ...staying well to the outside of the tiger's cage, because the last time I went too close he tore my shoulders into long ragged ribbons.... I am an artist sometimes, an accountant sometimes, an adventuress sometimes, a hunter sometimes, a chef sometimes, and a mother all the time. I am a problem-solver, experimenter, and inventor. I am an encyclopedia; I am a finder and a builder. I like big words, big trucks and big ideas. I don't usually do what you expect me to do, especially if you usually expect me to do it. If everyone else is doing it I won't, but if you really need me to do it, I'll already have done it. I am wandering down the path my Creator is showing me.... That didn't explain much did it? OK, OK - I am an artist/office manager/business consultant/accounting student/taekwondo student/single mother living in Maple Ridge. BC. Canada. I keep this site for the eccentric collection of worthy people who are interested in what I say. If you are one of those people, keep reading! |
